Abolish the Countywide Polling Place Program

Texas Election Code 43.007 has authorized the use of Countywide Polling Place programs in opposition to in-precinct voting.

This is terrible for our ability to audit election results by precinct (county level), as the participating county's election records are no longer cast or stored by precinct as required in chapter 66 of the Texas Election Code.

Texas Election Code 43.007(j) requires the SOS to file a report to the State Legislature on the progress of the CWPPP. This report must include all complaints sent to the SOS.

Below is a downloadable word document you can add your name to which contains a list of hyper-linked reports showing serious issues resulting from Tarrant County's participation in the CWPPP.

Each of the hyperlinked reports are available to print and mail, or attach in an email, and send to the SOS. These items and letter are vital for demonstrating the negative effects of the CWPPP in participating counties.

If you do not have affidavits to attach, simply amend the final section to read, "Please see all attachments/ issues outlined above."

Feel free to download and print these items for physical copies, and add them as email attachments when sending electronically. We should be thorough and clear with our demands. The Law and history is on our side.

Figure 1 is a donwloadabke PDF at the bottom..

The Actual Letter you van edit is just above that (43.007(j)SOSCComplaint)

The other 6 figures are linked as well and itemized as they are in the letter.

We need to return to voting IN PRECINCT to preserve our ability to to properly and timely audit our election results at the county level. We need to prevent other counties from ruining their ability to audit by precinct as well. Help Taking Back Texas abolish 43.007 in it's ENTIRETY.
